Topic 4 - Pericyclic Reactions

  1. Read Chapter 10 in Carey and Sundberg.

  2. Read the Web pages on pericyclic reactions.

  3. Do any seven of the following problems:

    • Problems # 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 (any six parts), 12, 13, 14, 16, and 19 (any six parts) at the end of Chapter 10 in Carey and Sundberg

    • Identify all pericyclic reactions in any problems you do, and show stereochemistry clearly
