RESEARCH
INTERESTS
1. Developing a new inlet device at the ESI side to enable the study of solution chemistry of peptides and proteins. 2. Designing new pulsed leak valve to enable faster recovery of pressure in the ICR cell. 3. Improving on cryofocuser at the GC side by reducing any leaks in the introduction line. My current projects involve the (I) study of the fluorescence emission behavior of an antibacterial hexapeptide upon addition of sodium and potassium chloride, and (II) characterization of the unresolved and co-eluding DBPs from drinking water (a collaborative project involving two other members of our group). ___________________________________________________________________________ |
